How To Play Twist’em

Click in the “Bet” and/or “Bonus” wagering areas to make your bets. Click “Deal” to receive three domino tiles. The numbers above the lines form your top hand, and the numbers below form your bottom hand. Click the tiles to set your hands how you want. Hands are scored Baccarat-style, adding up the points and dropping the tens digit.
The top hand must be smaller than the bottom hand. If it’s not, the dealer will flip the hand over — unlike Pai Gow Poker, this does not foul the hand.
Click “Show Hands” for a list of the possible ways to set the tiles, and click on each set to see it.

You win even money if your top and bottom hands beat the dealer’s top and bottom hands, respectively, or if one wins and one ties.
If one hand wins and the other hand loses, the bet is pushed. Otherwise, the dealer wins (including on two exact ties).

Try making $25 or $50 main bets and $5 bonus bets and see how long your starting $500 bankroll lasts.

The House Way is:
(a) If the top hand can be at least 2, maximize the bottom hand while keeping the top hand at least 2.
(b) Otherwise, maximize the bottom hand.
With optimal player strategy for this House Way, the house edge is 1.28%. If the player copies the House Way, the house edge is 3.04%.
(Compare that to Blackjack, where if the player copies the dealer strategy, the edge jumps from 0.5% to almost 5.5%.)

Bonus Bet
The bonus bet is a simple side wager that the player’s hands will match one of the paytable hands. It has a house edge of 1.59%.
Many other similar side wagers are possible.
