Bingo, keno, and other lottery-style games have one thing in common: the order of the balls doesn’t matter. Uppercut™ changes all of that by paying increasing awards depending on the sequence of balls drawn. In a standard Pick-6 lottery game, for example, the winning numbers can be matched in any order. By adding a side wager for Uppercut™, you can give players a new way to win even if they don’t match the numbers. Here’s how it works:
  1. The player buys a jackpot lottery ticket, selecting an additional $1 Uppercut™ wager.
  2. The numbers are drawn as usual, and the normal wager wins or loses based on the drawn numbers.
  3. For the Uppercut™ wager, the sequence of the numbers matters. Starting with the first ball drawn, the number of successively increasing balls determines the award. If the first ball drawn is larger than the second, the wager loses, but if all six balls are drawn in numerical order, it wins the top award. As an example, the sequence 5, 8, 10, 22, 19, 41 has four increasing numbers before the 19, while the same draws in a different order, 5, 10, 8, 22, 19, 41 has only two increasing numbers.

In a keno game, the Uppercut™ bet can have even higher awards. The Dime-A-Dozen keno bet is a chance to win up to One Million Dollars for a ten-cent bet. Here’s how it works:
  1. The player buys their favorite keno ticket, selecting an additional 10-cent Uppercut™ side wager.
  2. The numbers are drawn as usual, and the normal keno wagers win or lose based on the drawn numbers.
  3. For the Uppercut™ wager, the sequence of the numbers matters. Starting with the first ball drawn, the number of successively increasing balls determines the award, up to twelve in a row for the jackpot Dime-A-Dozen payout. Here’s the pay schedule:

For keno parlors that don’t want to offer a $1,000,000 payout there is another pay schedule with a more risk-friendly $250 top award. Like keno itself, the paytable for Uppercut™-style wagers can be modified to meet casino payback requirements.
